Close ups in general are my fave. Probably 'cause I like excessive amounts of detail.

Thank you very much. I'm trying to improve as much as I can 'cause I have to go through a portfolio revue process next semester. and if I calculated everything correctly, I can graduate in 2 years (meaning it will have taken only 14 years total, haha!)

ahhhh, well I definitely have seen improvement! I think these have a really nice clarity to them. I have always loved the imagination in your prints, and this series is bringing that creativity and craft together nicely! (:
You will have to through a huge graduation party!!! XD

Thank you much.
I'll have to have someone plan it for me, as my idea of a party is a tray of pizza rolls. While they're awesome, I feel this occasion may merit a bit more. :)

I can't stop looking at it. When I first saw the thumbnail I was wondering what was going on, but when I saw it at a larger size I just couldn't look away.

I know what you mean. On the first image in the series I had a period of time where I just got lost in it immediately after I pulled the print.

Very interesting concept and visual! I like the little reflections of the fire hydrant in the shards of glass. :)

Thank you. I had intended them to be a little more pronounced, but as long as they're noticeable at all I'm content.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it.

The object in the upper right corner. I'll give you a hint: It is not floating, but connected to the ground. The rest of it is underwater.

No prob. It is a little tricky as fire hydrants look different in almost every state, and probably more so I would assume in different countries. They come in numerous colors (green, black, yellow, red, silver are some I've seen personally) but I felt that yellow was a more universally understood hydrant color.

And it's not your fault, I did want it to remain at least a little bit vague to create more interest in the viewer. :)
